Family Birthday Party

Every month my family gets together to celebrate everyone who has a birthday that month. On Sunday we celebrated September birthdays. I always love getting together with my family and eating the wonderful food! This month instead of just celebrating the birthdays and eating food we played "Minute to Win It" games. It made for some good laughs and alot of fun! The family favorite game was the tennis game, where you had to use baking sheets to make a paper ball into the trash can.

The ones who didn't want to play...

Family parties are always fun and I am so glad that my family decides to get together every single month. Its always good to see everyone!

Girls Night

On Friday night me and all my girlfriends from high school got together. We knew we all needed to get together because all of our lives are changing so much over the next couple of months, so this was our one chance to see everyone for awhile. Both Sadie and Michelle will be leaving on their missions next month. Sadie will be going to Peru and Michelle is going to Mesa, Arizona. Kristal just headed back to BYU Hawaii. And everyone else to scattered throughout the rest of the state going to school. We all got together at Sadies house, and just hung out and ate food. We also decided to make a video of us talking about past girls nights and our lives at this moment. We are going to watch the video in 10 years and see how things have changed in our lives, and how we have changed. It will be fun and interesting to watch I think.

All of us around the food table!

It was really good to see everyone and I am really sad that I won't be seeing alot of these girls for a long time! But it will be fun to catch up and get together over the years. We will all be friends for the rest of our lives!

July 24th

We were able to spend the 24th, or I guess it was really the 25th, with my in-laws. I love spending time with my in-laws, they always throw the greatest parties. We played volleyball, went swimming, played football, had a BBQ, and did fireworks that night.

I love my husband and his personality of having to have everything just perfect. He was in charge of setting up the volleyball net for the party.  Trevor didn't just set up the volleyball net and place it in a spot where everyone could fit and play a good game of volleyball... He had to get yarn and a tape measure so we could measure out the entire yard and use the yarn to line the playing field for the volleyball games.  What could have taken Trevor 15 minutes, to set up the volleyball net, ended up taking him over an hour! Me and his mom were getting a good laugh watching him do all of this. I do love him and this is definently a quality of his that I admire and do love.

We had a great 24th and love it when we get to spend the holidays with family. We always have a great time with our families!
