Taylor Swift Concert

Last Wednesday night me, Trevor, and his little brother and sister Michael and Megan all went to the Taylor Swift concert together.  We all got these tickets clear back in April and have been anxiously waiting for September to come.  We were all so excited for the concert and were ecstatic the day the concert finally arrived!

On our way to the concert

It was pretty empty when we first arrived...

But if filled up rather quickly!

The concert was amazing and we all loved it! When and if she comes back, we for sure will be going again. Taylor Swift definently knows how to put on a good show for her fans, and I am proud to say that I am definently a fan of hers! I also loved that I was able to spend the night with Trevor and my brother and sister- in law. It was also a much needed night away from work and homework.

Raptors Game

On Saturday night me and Trevor went with my family to the Ogden Raptors baseball game. I am not a big baseball fan; however, Trevor is a HUGE baseball fan. He has been playing baseball since we was a little boy, all the way through high school. I knew that he would love being at the game. He could not take his eyes off of the game, and I think he was getting a little annoyed with me because all I wanted to do was talk. But he was super nice to explain things to me and still talk to me while watching the game.

We all had fun together at the game, and I actually found myself enjoying the game. The only complaint I have to make about the game is how hot it was. We were all sweating to death! However, we did leave the game early, because we had dinner reservations, so I do not know what the final score ended up being. But by the way they were playing when we left I can only guess that the Raptors won!

Work Summer Party

Trevor, myself, and my little brother Cade all work for America First (well at least Trevor did until Saturday). On Saturday night they had our summer work party at the Rocky Mountain Raceway. I was not particurally excited to go to the party but Trevor and Cade both wanted to go, so I decided to tag along. Cade also decided to bring a date with him, Cherri. She is adorable and a ton of fun to be with. Although I didn't want to go to the party at first, it turned out to be an absolutle blast! The "figure 8" races were my favorite by far. Just watching those cars cross and almost hit each other at unbeleivable speeds made my heart drop to my stomach, but it made for a very enjoyable show!

They also had a raffle going on between all of the races, and they had tons of great prizes! Trevor and I really really wanted to win, but we are probably the most unlucky people on the planet, well besides Cade that is. They called the number before Cade's ticket and after Cade's ticket, he was a little upset about that. However, Cherri did win! However, we almost missed her ticket being called. We decided to leave and go home and watch a movie. Well, while we were walking out of the park Trevor heard them calling raffle ticket numbers again and decided we probably should stop and listen, he REALLY wanted to win. Well lucky for us that we did stop because we heard Cherri's number called. However, because we were almost out of the park by that time, Cade had to run to the other end of the park to claim her prize. She won a $50 gift card to Boondocks. Congrats Cherri!

Thanks America First for a great night! We all had a blast!

Boondocks & A Candy Bar

Saturday night me and Trevor went with my 3 brothers, my cousins Chase and Murphy, and Cassie to Boondocks. It was a fun night and a night I know that we will talk about for years. We all played some arcade games and then decided to go bowling. Needless to say I am probably the worst bowler on the face of this planet, it's a rare occurence for me if the bowling ball actually makes its way to the pins before it finds its way to the gutter. But Treovr, my brothers, and cousin Chase are extremely good at bowling!

My cousin Chase

After we finished bowling, came the most exciting event of the night. Here is the dreaded Snickers bar that everyone had their eyes on...

The object of the game was to use the crane to pick up candy and drop the candy onto this platform. A sliding table would then push the candy off, which this would become your pize. Everyone was crowded around this machine, with person after person playing, trying to get this Snickers bar to fall. My cousin Chase was the lucky winner who finally got the Snickers bar to fall. However, this was after Trevor, my brothers, and cousin all spent about $5 trying to knock the Snickers bar down. We should of just gone to the grocery store and bought the 65 cent candybar. But what would of been the fun in that? What can i say... Once us Jones' get our minds set on something, we have to accomplish it. It did make for a fun evening though.

My family gathered around the machine watching
