Mothers Day

So I know I am about a month behind, but I am trying to get all caught up on my blogging!

Mothers Day was a great day for us! It was so exciting realizing that I will be a mother soon, and will have a child of my own to raise. I cannot wait for this little girl of our to arrive, but I am trying to be as patient as I can!

On Mothers Day we were able to Skype with my little brother who is currently serving a mission. Me and my little brother are very close and so I was super excited to be able to see him and talk with him. I was also very happy that we were going to actually get to see each other instead of just talking on the phone because it allowed him to be able to see my big pregnant belly! I love that decision that my brother has made to serve the Lord, and the people of Scotland and Ireland. However, with me being pregnant and us being so close to each other it has been a little difficult. There have been many times I have wished he was here at home with the family to be able to experience this with all of us. But its nice to be able to give him updates every week and I know that he is where he needs to be right now.

My family gathered around talking to Elder Jones

Elder Jones! He hasn't changed one single bit. (Sorry he was in the middle of a thought when I took this picture).
We were able to talk to my brother early in the morning and so the rest of the day was spent with family. It was nice to be able to see everyone and enjoy being with everyone! Holidays always seem to be really busy for me and Trevor trying to make it to see everyone. However, we were able to spend time with both my mom and Trevors mom. Which we loved being able to do and was exactly what we wanted! All in all it was a great Mothers Day!

Elder Cade Jones

About 2 weeks ago my little brother Cade left on his mission. He will be serving in the Scotland/Ireland mission. I am so proud and happy of his decision to go and serve the Lord for 2 years. However, I love my little brother so much and will miss him terribly! I already do miss him tons. Haha

We drove Cade down to the airport and he was off on his flight to the England MTC. He was so excited to be leaving and couldn't wait until it was time for him to go through the security gate and get on his plane. He kept asking all of us if it was time for him to go yet. It was sad to see him leave, but it helped to see how excited he was to going.

He looked like such a stud
I know that Cade will do a great job serving the people of Scotland and Ireland. He is already growing so much, and I can't wait to keep seeing how he does over the next 2 years. But I also hope these next 2 years go by very quickly! Haha

Elder Cade Ty Jones

My little brother, Cade, got his mission call on Wednesday! It was a fun and exciting day. We both worked that day together and the entire day he was freaking out about his call. He was so nervous, yet excited and he wanted to know where he would be serving for the next 2 years.

Right before opening his call
Cade was really nervous to open his call, as you can tell in the above picture.  He was called to serve in the Scotland/Ireland mission.  He will be preaching the gospel in the english language. Cade will also be leaving on January 19th, to the England MTC.

I can't beleive my little brother is leaving on his mission. Me and Cade do alot of things together and have for our entire lives. He is one my best friends and I will be so sad the day he leaves for 2 whole years. However, I am so proud and happy of the decision he has made to go and serve the Lord and preach the gospel. I know he will be an amazing missionary and will love every single second of it.  I also know that 2 years will go by very quickly. Congrats Cade!!
